Allergy Appointment/Testing:

We can test for the presence of a vast range of allergies including foods, pollens, animal hair, feathers, latex, dust mite, mould, bee/wasp stings and many more. Symptoms may include hives (red rash), runny nose, red eyes, tight chest, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Our expert scientists use a combination of patient history, symptom analysis, and a specialised blood test in order to determine any potential allergies you may have. Don't worry! NO big needles required- just a finger prick! Once we've determined any possible allergies, we can advise you on how best to manage them.

Intolerance Appointment/Testing (Food):

Here at IGE, we can test for the presence of an intolerance to over 200 different foods, drinks, herbs and, spices (including gluten). Symptoms include bloating, migraines, stomach cramps diarrhea, and a skin rash.
Our expert scientists use a combination of patient history, symptom analysis, and a specialised blood test in order to determine any potential intolerances you may have. Don't worry! NO big needles required- just a finger prick! Once we've determined any possible intolerances, we can advise you on how best to manage them.

Lactose Intolerance Appointment/Testing:
Lactose intolerance can be very unpleasant for the sufferer with symptoms including diarrhea, bloating, stomach cramps, and nausea. Our expert scientists use a combination of patient history, symptom analysis, and a specialised blood test in order to determine whether you may have an intolerance to lactose. Don't worry! NO big needles required- just a few finger pricks! Once we've determined whether or not you may be intolerant, we can advise you on how best to manage it.

Please Note: We currently do not test for Asthma. We don't test anyone under the age of 16 for allergies and we don't test anyone under the age of 16 for intolerances. We do not provide prescriptions.
Coeliac disease is an inflammatory autoimmune condition affecting 1 in 1500 people in the UK. Symptoms are triggered in response to WHEAT and include diarrhea, bloating, constipation, fatigue amongst others. Our expert scientists will use a combination of patient history, symptom analysis, and a blood test in order to determine whether you may have coeliac disease. We can then provide you with advice and guidance on how best to manage it.
Fees:
Test prices start from £30 depending on the test you require. The fee for the initial and any follow-up consultations is charged separately.
